Energy Services - Heat Networks/ District Heating

Our Client is a leading Energy Services company, managing Energy assets across the UK. Due to continued growth and exciting long-term projects, they now seek an O&M Manager to join, who will play a key role in the growth of the business for the foreseeable future.

Role Duties

  • Responsibility for the safe and effective operation of a fleet of district heating sites
  • Minimising operational downtime of energy centres & maximising plant availability
  • Delivery and management of all reactive and corrective works from quoting through to delivery of works
  • Act as the client’s main point of contact from technical standpoint, presenting at monthly client meetings and reporting against business KPI’s
  • Development and continuous improvement of operating procedures
  • Ensure all building management systems which fall within contractual remit are maintained to the required standard
  • Support development and champion competency growth

The ideal Candidate background

  • Technical Engineering background
  • Demonstrate experience, or show a genuine interest, in working on Low Carbon/ Heat Network technologies

Role duties include:

Business Development Manager

We are excited to be partnered with a dynamic international boutique Software company who are having an impact across Energy and Smart Cities markets. Due to continued expansion within their Energy and Environmental offering they now seek a Business Development Manager to join their UK team, focusing on business opportunities across the UK.

Role Duties:

  • Create new business opportunities within Engineering and Energy (management/ solutions/ projects) environments;
  • Use technical background and understanding to consult Clients through use cases, presentations and sales; 
  • Manage a sales pipeline; 
  • Assist with the feature specifications for software development;
  • Build relationships with new and existing Clients.

The ideal Candidate will:

  • Have a Technical Degree/ Education in either Engineering, Environmental Sciences, Energy Studies or a similar field;
  • Have a strong understanding of Energy Solutions, Energy Markets or the Built Environment;
  • Be confident when working with Clients, delivering presentations and developing relationships;
  • Demonstrate a keen interest in software and technologies which can have a positive impact on Smart Cities, Energy and Environmental projects.
