We are recruiting for an innovative and rapidly expanding company specialising in designing, building, and operating low-carbon district energy networks. They are committed to helping reduce energy consumption, costs, and carbon emissions by delivering advanced solutions for public and private sector clients. Due to continued growth they now seek a Energy Engineer to join their Engineering team.
The Energy Engineer will oversee the safe and efficient management of multiple district heating sites. You will be responsible for a range of projects, ranging up to large city-wide heating networks, ensuring smooth and reliable performance. Your duties will include minimizing downtime, maximizing plant availability, managing budgets, managing stakeholders, and supporting continuous operational improvements.
Requirements
- A degree or equivalent experience in Engineering (ideally Mechanical, Chemical, or Electrical).
- Experience in managing on-site energy projects.
- Familiarity with energy software programming.
- Strong leadership, organizational, and stakeholder management skills.

Having won several residential and commercial low carbon contracts in the UK, they're now seeking an Energy Engineer to support on the design and delivery.
The role duties include:
- Support the Lead Engineer in the development and implementation of energy saving solutions for retrofit projects.
- Participate in the design and execution of technical solutions, such as district energy, heat pumps, solar pv, and other sustainable and energy-efficient alternatives.
- Provide technical support to the business development, commercial, and project delivery teams, and assist with scoping and identifying the best energy saving opportunities and general solutions
- Be responsible for energy modelling and savings calculations, producing engineering and design documentation, liaising with specialist subcontractors, and supporting with planning applications and general consents activities.
The ideal candidate will have an Engineering background and demonstrate and interest in the low carbon/ decarbonised energy sector.

Our client is a a reputable UK-based company offering a wide range of energy-efficient solutions, including energy audits, project management, and renewable energy technology implementation. Their team is passionate about innovation, collaboration, and delivering sustainable solutions that reduce energy costs, improve building performance, and enhance the environment.
Due to continued growth, they now seek a Project Manager to join their London based team.
As a Project Manager, you will have the opportunity to work with a dynamic team of professionals and contribute to the development of leading energy solutions.
Role duties include:
- Oversee the delivery of planned works within agreed timescales and budgets.
- Be responsible for assisting with the preparation of quotes and estimates for remedial and project works, reviewing opportunities to improve cost base and supply chain, and engaging with clients.
- Manage reactive maintenance delivery and extra works, review engineers' gas certificates, ensure RAMS are available for all tasks, and ensure subcontractors comply with contractual commitments and site operating processes.
- Work closely with Contracts Manager, Site Managers, and other key interfaces to achieve common objectives.
The ideal candidate will have strong technical understanding with previous experience working across multiple sites, be able to manage and prioritize a demanding workload, and have excellent verbal and written communication skills. Experience of working within energy services (district heating, CHP, energy efficiency, heat pumps, etc.) would be an advantage.
