The Role:

As a Senior Engineer, you will be responsible for the design, technical supervision, and optimisation of heat network systems from inception to operation. You will work closely with commercial, project delivery, and operations teams to ensure successful project execution and compliance with industry standards.

Key Responsibilities include:

  • Lead the design and assessment of Heat Network systems from concept to completion.
  • Develop technical models, load assessments, and heat pump selection strategies to optimise performance.
  • Work closely with project teams to manage relationships with clients and contractors.
  • Carry out site inspections, oversee commissioning, and address snagging issues.
  • Provide expert input on system enhancements, expansions, and operational efficiencies.
  • Mentor and support the growth of junior engineers within the team.

The ideal candidate will be are a qualified Engineer with a strong background in district energy, heat pump system design, and adoption. Ideally, you will also have excellent communication, stakeholder management, and commercial awareness.
